In 2011, WowDog was born out of  love for our beagle, Breagh, and a desire to give her something better than the mass-produced treats filled with artificial additives and potentially damaging ingredients.

Determined to make a change, we set out on a journey to handcraft our own natural dog treats—each one carefully created with only the finest ingredients.

WowDog treats aren’t just snacks- they’re a celebration of quality and care, freshly baked to perfection.

MEET WOWDOG THE TEAM

wowdog founder Louisa
Louisa founded WowDog in 2011, blending her love for baking with a passion for providing healthy food for her beagle, Breagh. After extensive research and refinement, she created the original Honey & Oat recipe, which remains the foundation of WowDog's recipes today.
WowDog CEO Steve
Steve is the heart of WowDog. He handles everything from overseeing the baking to packing and delivering treats across Aberdeenshire and beyond. Passionate and hardworking, he loves meeting customers and takes pride in converting even the most fussy dogs into raving WowDog fans.
WowDog Baker Maria
Maria works in our kitchen diligently handcrafting each and every treat the traditional way in small batches. Her skill, patience, and meticulous attention to detail ensure each treat is baked to perfection with care. As a stickler for quality, Maria bakes only the best quality treats for our lovely customers.
Wowdog kids
The WowDog kids love joining their dad at events and helping him deliver treats locally. Though still too young for an active role in the business, they're eager to pitch in. Their favorite tasks right now are printing mailing stickers and selling treats at local events.
Wowdog buddy
Buddy dog takes his job as chief barker very seriously. He barks to notify us of Maria's arrival and departure every day and also to let us know the Postman is here to collect the day's treat deliveries. He is also very good at letting us know when the eggs and oats are being delivered.
Original Wowdog Breagh
The name WowDog was inspired by Breagh's beagly "Wow" bark sound she made when she was excited. Our logo was created using her outline and she will forever be remembered as the original WowDog. She was a wild and free spirit who brought us an abundance of love, laughter and happy memories.

We only use natural ingredients in our dog treats- locally sourced from Aberdeenshire producers wherever possible.  

Hand-crafted

Each treat is carefully baked in the kitchen of our Aberdeenshire home in small batches to our simple recipes.

Our treats are free from wheat, lactose, soy, meat, salt and additives, perfect for sensitive little tummies.

We have a deep commitment to doing right by our customers and the environment.
